Mugger - 0 Maggie - 1

One of my worst fears became a reality. Maggie was mugged in D.C. Well, kinda mugged. A young kid came up to her and wrapped is arm around her, telling her he had a gun and to give him her money. Maggie's quick wit replied that she had no money (all of this is taking place while they are still walking Pennsyvania Ave). He then asked for the MP3 player she had in her hand. She quickly replied, "no". And continued on her way. He gave up and moved on.
Now, Maggie knows better, but in the heat of the moment, this is what took place. She pretty much told the mugger no and proceeded on with her day. She and I both realize how very lucky she is. If this were to happen again, she would hand over everything and take care of her safety. But of all the women in the D.C. area, this young kid picked Maggie - and she was the wrong woman to fuck with :)
